Property teams reviewing burned-area drainage and the need for local emergency or geotechnical follow-up.

Start with the matched area and assessment date
TrueViewly checks whether the location intersects an assessed drainage basin or an assessment perimeter. The report identifies the fire and available dates. A perimeter alone cannot supply basin estimates.
- The collection contains assessments for selected fires, not every burned area. No match does not establish safety or exclude downstream exposure.
- Historical conditions can change with recovery, subsequent fire and storms. Confirm whether an assessment remains relevant locally.
Read likelihood together with rainfall
Basin estimates apply to stated peak 15-minute rainfall conditions. A percentage describes modeled likelihood under that condition, not the annual chance of damage at a property. Potential sediment volume is shown in cubic meters, not insured loss.
- An intensity of 24 mm/h sustained over 15 minutes is not 24 mm of rainfall accumulation.
- A rainfall threshold for 50% likelihood is a modeled scenario value, not a property-specific evacuation trigger.
- Published Low, Moderate or High hazard labels apply to their scenario, not the overall property-risk score.
Use the evidence for local follow-up
Sonoma's sample has no assessment-area match. A separately checked Blue fire basin illustrates a positive result: the September 23, 2025 assessment reports 8.88% conditional likelihood and 282.06 cubic meters at 24 mm/h over 15 minutes. This is historical basin evidence, not a Sonoma finding.
- These imported basin estimates do not map downstream debris paths or building damage. Review drainage and access with qualified local professionals.
- For current threats and evacuation instructions, follow local authorities and official weather warnings rather than a saved report.

Frequently asked questions
Does a 50% estimate mean a 50% annual chance?
No. The likelihood is conditioned on the stated rainfall scenario and assessed basin conditions, not a yearly property-loss probability.
Can a perimeter match supply basin numbers?
No. The report keeps perimeter-only matches separate and does not assign basin estimates from that overlap.
Does no assessment match rule out a debris flow?
No. Areas can be unassessed, and downstream exposure can exist outside a matched basin. Confirm local conditions.
Do these assessments change my score?
No. They are dated additional evidence, not new score inputs, insurance decisions or current emergency warnings.
